About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Michelle (she/her)

My journey toward becoming a pelvic floor physical therapist began because I suffered from pelvic pain. I found no effective treatment for several years until my doctor suggested I try pelvic floor physical therapy. My physical therapist not only performed treatments that helped ease my pain but also taught me what I could do to relieve and manage my pain. I hope that by working with me, you will find relief with your physical therapy treatments during our visits and learn what you can do to help heal yourself. I want to help you regain control and autonomy over your body and health. My patients’ participation in their healing journey is essential.

Before becoming a physical therapist, I was a massage therapist for 12 years. Going back to school for physical therapy was a natural progression in my bodywork career. I attended Wichita State University, completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, and attended numerous post-graduate courses through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Barral Institute. My passion for learning continues, and I strive to acquire new knowledge and skills that make me a better practitioner for all my patients. I enjoy combining my experience as a massage therapist with the skills and knowledge I gained becoming a physical therapist to provide my patients with the best treatment I can offer.

I currently live with my wife on our small 5-acre farm, where we enjoy spending time with our Australian Shepherd (Norman), cat (Jack), and three horses (Buffy, Legs, and Mick).

Thank you for considering Breathe Physical Therapy LLC. I look forward to working with you!
